Principal’s message

Dr. Rohit Sarin

Dear Students,

Welcome to "The Lalit Suri Hospitality School" and to the World of Hotel Operations and Management,

We believe you might have given a careful thought about the meaning of hospitality business, which shines amongst the best performing industries in the world. Hospitality implies interacting with people, communicating in different languages and travelling the world, thus combining the excitement of exploring different countries, their regions and cultures, for rewarding professional opportunities.

Although success may depend upon unpredictable variables, it may be wise to think carefully about what it takes to evolve toward hospitality success. When on the top of the hierarchy, one soon discovers that responsibilities include the pain of dealing with various complexities inherent to the hospitality industry. At that level one has to perform and deliver to the satisfaction of property owners, the operating brand, guests, employees, and the local community.

To claim hospitality technical competences it implies, among other things, the acquisition of knowledge and skills to deal with the core disciplines that characterize our industry, including Sales & Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, Rooms Division and Food & Beverage.

Whether you are a student who intends to enroll or a parent, a prospective employer of our graduates you can be assured of a warm welcome by our Faulty. We would be delighted to show you our new and modern facilities, meet with you on a one-on-one basis, and to introduce you to some of our current students, our campus and programs. Our faculty members are drawn from many states and are thus able to provide diversity of thought and experience for our students, an essential ingredient for operating in today's international tourism environment.

TLSHS offers a boutique educational concept, implying the acquisition of competence and personalized attention to students within a commercially operated application hotel. With such intentions toward hospitality learning, students will soon understand the reasons simulating international hospitality standards of practice.

The Faculty of TLSHS aims to become the leading international center for the study of tourism, hospitality and food and beverage management and to promote excellent teaching and research. It is our mission to cultivate those professionals who will become the next generation of leaders. As the Principal of this faculty, it gives me great honors to welcome you. Come visit us and find out just how exciting it is to be involved in the educational part of what has been acknowledged as the world's leading economic sector.

The future is taking shape, the challenge is yours.
